A perfect marriage

I think this is the perfect marriage: an old man'south way cardigan and a lady's blouse from Topshop. I was unsure most the cardigan when it arrived and had to try information technology on with a few unlike tops, but decided to continue it subsequently all when the trusty buttoned upward shirt saved the twenty-four hour period. Volition be wearing it once more before long with a buttoned upward denim shirt (yes, that quondam favourite). Only realised this is actually an outfit devoid of brilliant colour (unusual for me), but I still felt similar myself because of the combinations of textures – wool, fur and silky blouse cloth.

This was taken at my parents' house at the weekend when the family was over helping mum with the housework – felt a bit guilty going outside to have photos but we did eventually get in and do our bit(!).

(If you're wondering what I'thousand laughing at in the last photograph, click hither. My sister and my nieces were making me laugh from inside the house by pulling faces through the window… then my sister ran outside to gatecrash the movie. Even so, revenge is sweet: the blogging world gets to run across her chichi cleaning-the-house outfit, complete with my dad'south old gardening shoes to run outside in. Serves her right, the cheeky wotsit đŸ˜‰

(Oh and I'll announce the winner of my giveaway in my next post)
